Questions, answered
When will Issue 001 arrive?
The first mailing goes out in mid-July, and you'll get an email with tracking once your copy is in the mail. Orders placed after the first mailing are printed and shipped as they come in.
Am I charged now?
Yes. Your order is a real purchase, and it reserves your copy of the first printing.
Why pre-order instead of waiting?
The debut only happens once. Pre-ordering puts you in the first mailing in mid-July, and the readers who order Issue 001 are the ones this publication gets built with.
How does the annual subscription work?
You pay $119 once a year for four quarterly issues, starting with Issue 001. That works out to about $29.75 an issue, delivered without lifting a finger. It renews annually, and you can cancel anytime before renewal.
What about shipping?
We ship anywhere. Standard shipping is $6 in the US and $18 international, passed through at cost.
Who makes this?
Form & Function is an independent publication based in Roanoke, Virginia, run by founder Spencer Scott Pugh and editor-in-chief Carter Davis Johnson, with a small team that genuinely loves this stuff. We also publish a free weekly newsletter where every brand in the magazine first told their story.
